Consider the distance traveled: What started as “Impeach Earl Warren” — the archetypal judicial activist — has now become “Impeach Tony Kennedy” — the archetypal middle-of-the-Republican-roader.

Soon they’ll be coming for Scalia. He’s no Clarence Thomas!
